Shenzhen HongGuangDe Technology Co., Ltd Fire Drill

      To further enhance HGD’s security system and improve staff’s fire safety sense and their ability to deal with possible emergent fire accident, HGD carried out a fire drill on 31st Oct. 2015 under the principle of “Safety First, Precaution First” and “People Foremost”. The fire drill was carried out on the open area of the company. Correct way to use fire-fighting equipment was also demonstrated.

      Fire drill started at 5 pm with the fire alarms broadcast. The drill team came to the workshop stairs before 5 o’clock to evacuate the staff downstairs. They finished evacuation in five minutes! At 5:05 pm, all the workshop staff reached the open area outside of the company gate and the production director made a roll call.
      At 5:05 pm, the factory director announced to ignite the prepared firewood with heavy fog rose soon. Then one of HGD’s engineer demonstrated how to use extinguisher for several times, then the factory director lectured the key point to use an extinguisher. After the demonstration, directors of each department practiced using extinguisher. Workers were encouraged to exercise in order to improve their self-relief ability. Most of them used the equipment in a correct way and put off the fire successfully. Factory director corrected some inappropriate usage and evaluated their participation. 
At 5:25 pm, fire drill came to an end with the factory director made a conclusion to the advantages and disadvantages of the drill.
Through the exercise of self-rescue and fire-fighting skills demonstration, employees have improved their fire safety sense. And they already had a general idea of fire evacuation essentials and emergency self-rescue knowledge. Spot demonstration especially impressed them and would give them a profound memory and understanding. This fire drill also enhanced HGD’s fire security system and build a powerful evacuation team, which gives strong support to unpredictable and emergent accidents.
